The Nina Rindt The Universal Genève Compax "Nina Rindt" got its nickname from being worn by F1 champion Jochen Rindt's wife at the Formula 1 races that she attended. THE NEW UNIVERSAL GENEVE BOOK This watch is the actual Nina Rindt photographed in the new book on Universal Geneva by Richard Crosthwaite and Paul Gavin, in it they discuss the watch's hands and they describe this piece as a ‘New old stock unpolished Compax'. It was photographed in the book having a UG bracelet which was only added by the authors for the purpose of the photograph, so sadly it does not come with that bracelet. This watch is about as close to a perfect example of a Nina Rindt with MKII dial as you are ever likely to find – it is a real gem.
